out today with D today
went for movies at plaza
caught gridiron gang and the illusionist
gridiron gang was a fanstatic movie
i wanna watch it agn! =)
the illusionist was alrite
not very much of what i like
all bout illusions and stuff
back home
then off to sis place to collect something
im hungry!
told mama bout it
and she went down to get my dinner
or rather supper now
so im right here waiting for her to be back

nyp's open house (25th to 27th jan)
the school is like some market today
soooo noisy
and so many unknown ppl roaming ard
having sooo many students walking in and out of the labs
and our block
some even stared into the project room
many tried peeping into our proj room
as we are playing games like CRAZY TAXI and DOTA
then brandon actually open the door and asked if they wanna join
ha!
went for henna drawing w esther for FREE!
and brandon samuel and sac actually went to join the game
played CS against the nyp team
kel and yixian went ard playing games and won diff prizes
haha
project all the way today

comm skills common test went well
test was doable
left the lecture hall half an hour before the end of paper
stayed to wait for the rest
then stayed back for a while
to have dinner w brandon and yx's grp
walked out w brandon to the mrt station
and trained home
went walking ard
or rather loitering ard
and being clumpsy
i tripped over the curb and hit my ankle
now it hurts! =(

went to school for asp tut
lesson w SS
everyone was dreading it
well
but it was very clear tt today noone was interested in his class
after ytd's incident
and when he started asking questions on coding
the class just started to bombard him
to prove tt whatever he said bout us ytd was not right
and the guys were really 'shooting' him
and well
his program had errors as well
so does tt mean tt its not done by him?
today asp's tut is the last!!

being a lecturer doesnt give u the liabilty of criticising people
and what more your own students
if u claimed that whatever we have done is not our work
then whats the point of having a presentation today
isnt tt a waste of ur time and ours
taking some time to think thru your question doesnt make us stupid
and tt doesnt mean we dunno our work
so stop making assumptions when you have no idea what situation we are in!
despite us spending sooo much effort in doing the project
what we got in the end is ur criticism
and you demoralising us
guess you have no idea at all
how much your words can hurt
why would we take our people's work to present
and take our grades soo lightly
what i can say now is
the class has totally changed our impression of you
and i will say
dont try to make us feel better or make yourself look good
by telling us that you wont fail anyone

okies
am in samuel's house right now
rushing thru asp project
presentation is tmr!
met mich at 1.30pm today
headed to bishan library
to meet sh sam esther ym xh clement and kel
all were mugging for asp on their individual notebook
mich and i did too
then headed to j8 for FOOD
cos all were hungry
then samuel and sac joined us
back to the library after eating
and left the library at bout 7 plus
mich sac and i headed to samuel's house
as we are nt done for the project
and poor samuel is still waiting for the arrival of BRANDON (his team leader)
he is helping my group as and when we needed help
brandon is on his way
and we are about to leave soon
cos its getting late
and we will meet up agn early in the morn tmr
hope everything goes on well tmr

comm skills presentation today
it all went well
supposed to meet D in the morn
but she overslept
so didnt get to see her

off to school w the corsages
ran thru the comm skills presentation once during java lab
mich is unwell
she is down w flu virus
my poor girl =(

sac took over mich's part for presentation
my grp was the second
and i thought we did pretty well
comments from tcher:
group- she like the corsages and she thought we did pretty good
she is overall happy with the presentation
myself- she thinks im cheerful, and she thinks that im very suitable for today's presentation
my group presented a report on a wedding website
she commented that im confident and am a good speaker
however, it will be even better if i speak a lil LOUDER and SLOWER!

my group decided to give her all our corsages as a 'thank you' present

went town w huihui sam sam and mich
to get our formal wear for comm skills
we need to get something tt looks alike
cos tcher say marks will be given for group's outlook
haha
okie
went wisma g2000
then off to taka
and then back to wisma and then taka agn
was tired and hungry
so we stopped by food republic
and we ordered bread from toast box
we ordered the thick toast in FOUR diff flavours
butter sugar.butter kaya.chocolate and otah
all taste nice!
and we ordered 2 bowls of desserts!
after tt we went ard to look for florist
to look for nice corsages
and we ended up getting it from chinatown
=)

okies
all i can say is work was never fun
gc was so busy ytd
sessions were full
sessions clashed
ila was asked to go down to box to open counter
at first i was supposed to go
but i was on training so yupp
at the last session
a patron ordered jumbo hotdog from wayne
so i went out to help him
but the q at europa was soooo long
went there and was told tt there is no more bread
so i went down to CB
and the q was equally bad
no more cheesy and jumbo
bernard and nic was there to help
and bernard went ALL NEED TO SEND IN!
so i told bernard i will come down later to take
and he said 'yanqi, send order for me first then come down agn'
so i had to send orders
and as ivan was first day at cb
he was helping w the orders as well
so we kept gg up and down to send orders
and finally when the jumbo is ready
i was about to bring it up alr
bernard asked ivan to wash chessy and he said dunno
so bernard ask me to help and guide him
and then had to send orders agn
this time kian seng helped as well
wayne came down to collect the jumbo for me =)
after the sessions went in
i went back to gc
to help w eos as well as slack a lil
then cinema was out
so wayne po and i was went to clear
and half way thru
bernard walkie wayne
and i was asked to go down to do BOX CLOSING!
went down to office
and first thing bernard saw me was
'cannot lar, if u dun come down, i think 5am i also cannot go home'
cos box closing ytd was only edmund ila and yong xin(a new trainee)
out of three, onlt edmund knows how to do
so am asked to help to teach ila when edmund taught yx
in order to speed things up
edmund went to calculate the settlements
and i did the vouchers
so yx and ila was with me to learn
and then went over to learn the settlement
but i ended up calculating the final settlement as well
box closed at 2.30am sharp
4omins work!
ila and i went back to gc agn
cos eos hasnt ended
cinemas were all coming out
so all went to help clear the cinemas
and sl and i stayed at the bar to help wash the stuff
as well as hang the aprons
we talked and things are being shared
oh well
gv family day today
was supposed to go
but well

woke up at 6.45am ytd
lesson at 8am
it feels so good to not wake up
cos ytd the weather was so comfy to sleep
train-ed to school
met yati and hui in the train
we were all late
and PINGPING is as irritating as usual
really dislike her lessons
java was alrite
went thru 'actionlistener' and 'actionperform'
maths class was hilarious
supposed to have a math test
but the tcher say its postponed
and she started crapping away
mich and i laughed at her thruout
and then last lesson was w PINGPING agn!
she is sooooo naggy
tut lesson with her is def a dread and torture
the hour seemed long
lunched at FJ w mich sac brandon and samuel
and headed for project
was rushing thru asp
then headed to meet D for work
reached work at 5.30pm
dajie was rushing me like mad!
she was making me soooo nervous lar
first day at gc
so fion wanna talk to all the trainees and trainers
and i couldnt bun up my hair
yixia bernice and yw tried to help
and in the end ann bun it for me
was late
cos by the time i got ready and all
it was alr 6.05pm
when fion wanted to see us at 5.55pm
anyways
sl and yiyi wasnt there yet
so the meeting was postposned to 6.30pm
headed up to gc w my trainer BERNICE
together w yixia rina and dajie
bernice is a nice nice trainer
yixia and dajie helped me along as well
first day wasnt too bad
served.clear cinema.took orders
learnt the PDA.washed the aprons.
eos w ila sl hafiz and po
we were all crapping away
talking bout tt 'thing' in the cinemas
sl and i were trying to get the names of the wines and stuff
so we were like taking down notes and all
po tried to scare ila and me
by wanting to close the door when we went into the cinema
tt is in complete darkness
but we managed to stop him
didnt feel too good when back from work
had a blank out
sigh
to ME:
i didnt forget that u helped me as well
some things doesnt have to be spelled out

school today was alrite
as usual
cant really talk
and mich was being sooo nice today
she dropped me a msg asking if i was still having a sore throat
then when she came to school
she came w a bag of 7-11 goodies
she got me a can of jiajia liang teh
a can of bandung banana milk
3 packets of stepsils in diff flavours
and a bar of DARK choc
she said tt dark choc is to tempt me to get well soon so i can eat it
she made me drink those two cans of drink

went for marketing lecture
but noone was listening cos all mugging for the common test
had an hour break before marketing common test

after tt
went for asp practical

worked the past two days
was good
did box closing w D for both days =)
was the floater once agn
crowd wasnt too bad for the past two days
its getting lesser
dajie did europa closing on fri
and she made a mess out of it

cos her punggol boy boy wasnt there at the usher pt

box closing is getting earlier each day

its been 4 days into 2007
things are so far so good
hope it will continue the way it is
many believed that this year will be a good year ahead
but i dunno why
it just doesnt apply to me
things hasnt been too good
or rather it hasnt been gg on smoothly
there are times where ppl dunno wad they exactly want
im sure of what i want
but i have no idea if i can get hold of it
or rather do i even have the luxury of having it
you are confused over ur own decision
disappointment is what i got from you
i just hope u can be sure of what u want
and all i can say is
things dont always go your way
there are times where you will need to give up on one thing for another
no way you can get hold of all the things you want
thats life!
im sorry if i made you guys feel the way you are feeling now
i didnt mean to see that coming as well
you all noe how much you ppl mean to me
i just hope we can still be how we were previously

its a brand new year
a brand new start
a brand new begining
been working the past week
day in day out at gv
had fun
but tiring
spent new year's eve at gv working
but wan sl edwin willy and kent came back
chatted and have fun
countdown tgt
school starting tmr once agn
am dreading it thou
cos once it starts
it will be back to projects assignments
and the exams
oh god!
the past year been a nice year i would say
despite of the unhappy stuff that happened
as well as the getting into a new school
knowing new friends
overall 2006 been nice with you around
bond w the gv ppl are getting stronger
its more difficult for me to leave now
really cant bear to
and what more you are there
thou im nt the one that made u stay
decisions have to be made sooner or later
dragging any longer wont make anything better
