I AM FREAKING PISSED!i have never encounter such a bunch of people like them
and sadly it was during work
to think that my colleagues are of such people
i am disgusted!
work today started off well due to the quiet crowd
changed duties with zac
so that makes me the host =)
two group bookings today
weiting asked me to help out with the cinema 3 GB
as i was helping candice and her with the pre-orders, getting them sorted and written on the seating plan
the booking required us to serve each patron a set menu
and all are already pre-ordered
so by right the kitchen staff have alr done the amount needed
theresa was the function host for cinema 3 GB
wind zac and i were the servers
fion came up to help
and after i served some orders, theresa passed me the seating plan
with the orders on it, asking me to see how many more orders and blah blah
and it was time for the main course to be served so i headed to the kitchen and thats when all things happened
things started out fine when orders are made correctly according to my seating plan but servers start coming in to kitchen telling me there are missing orders, changing of seats and latecomers
patrons changed their seats without informing us
that doesnt make it our fault!
orders got screwed up due to latecomers and the changing of seats
some didnt get their main course
and some actually tried to be funny by wanting to change their orders
first incident happened when fion encountered a patron telling her they want to change their order
so fion came into the kitchen telling me the changed order
and A actually raised his voice at us, telling us all is prepared and no orders could be changed for group bookings
what worst was he actually targetted at fion the manager, asking if she ever did a group booking before!
fion got so offended that she walked out of gold class
i mean, come on, dont think so highly of yourself!
afterall, she is the manager and you are just a staff
it really shocked me to hear that coming from him and it was to a manager!
incident two happened not long after, when theresa came and wanted a particular main course but the same person raised his damn voice again at her, telling her that all orders of that course is already out, there isnt anymore for that!
i have never seen such inflexible ppl before
cant there be changes at the last min?
theresa asked for it and got shouted at again
then that guy went yaking again and theresa replied him that 'we know what we are doing'
so he replied and trying to act by saying 'no receipt no order'
so theresa wrote on the docket left on the table
and trying to act once again, he threw the docket back at theresa asking for the pink portion while its under the blue portion on the table!
cant he open his eyes bigger!!!
i was already freaking pissed by then, for tolerating all his shoutings at us!
many orders werent send, and since the kitchen ppl already made it so clear that there isnt anymore orders, theresa just wrote dockets and got them to prepare
it ended up with a few extras
and this time, candice was kind of pissed with them too
for the miscommunication
and she actually scolded them a little
i wouldnt say its not entirely our fault
there must be bound to have some orders sent wrongly
but there is no need for the shoutings, i believe
and which rule actually says that a part-timer cant be the one coordinating the orders
the very least when my managers, incharges saw me coordinating the orders, they didnt say anything
and they even helped to serve the orders i asked to
doesnt mean only full-timers can do the job, part-timers as well
its just a mentality of typical human beings
there isnt many full-timers on shift, if everything were to wait for full-timers, nothing could be done
and come on, in a group booking, there are bound to have wastages
this is something that cant be avoided
doesnt they know this given they work in the kitchen
so look whos talking, it seemed like they are the ones who never did a group booking before that they didnt noe wastages are inevitable
and communication is important, not screamings and shoutings!
and what more, we are charging the company whatever that we asked for on top of the pre-orders
so why make a hu-ha
its not like you are the one paying for the damn bill at the end!
it may be my fault for being a lousy coordinator
but

and it isnt within my control that the patrons decided to change seats and disrupt my orders
you could have said nicely
and not just started shouting like a barbarian
bear in mind, i may be working, but certainly not for you or under you!
i dont care if you are offended
or you may be pissed now
all i can say is you certainly changed my opinion of you
there is really zero respect from me to you now!
supposed to end work t 7.30pm
left only at 8pm
went down to office
fion MG and wayne was there
fion was telling me how pissed she was
MG was telling me to cool down, and ignore him
fion commented something which i shall not say in here
and daddy wayne was asking me to keep my cool
and MG is so funny, she asked me not to agitate him just in case if anything happens!
like i told them, after what happened today, think wishfully that i will talk to him like before
you have your own temper
i have mine too
and i can tell you honestly that i have got a big ego and am very prideful
thats me, its up to you ppl to judge
i really dont give a damn!
to mummy weiting, candice and theresa:sorry for any trouble caused during the whole group booking today. i know i did showed my temper a little at the end as well at him, but i guess he was really at my limit and i am not so cool to keep my composure. so sorry.
*sorry for this long and unglam post, but i just needed to rant everything out on how i really felt*
