HELLOS!
updates updates again!
Friday - 8th Aug
had a crazy time ytd in school with my interns! =)
we planned to wear white for the girls and red for the guys in conjunction of national day
and yes we did..
that also means photo taking is inevitable!

PT and mr piggy stayed back in school ytd for proj
so i tagged along =)
we booked the big media room in the library after school
and at the same time we manage to catch the beijing olympics' opening on channel 5
it was really impressive!
all three of us were really impressed by how much they can really do
and how different the bird nest looked from the last time we saw
its just a mere 2mths and they can do up so many impressive things
mr piggy commented that they are really ready for this
cos when we were in BJ and we heard one of their olympic song 'we are ready'
we were quite doubtful cos BJ at that time was still in a mess
like everywhere you go you see construction works and its dusty and all
but from what we saw ytd.. its a total change
WELL DONE to them! =)
if only we are still there now.. =(
left school at 9plus and headed to AMK hub for our dinner!
left at 10plus and mr piggy sent me home! =)
Today - 9th Aug
dedicated my day to gv
went for a opening shift at box office (9.30 - 6.15pm)
opening w mad and lin
the moment we were at box, ppl start coming and asking what time do we open
the moment we got ready and opened our counters, the crowd came
it was a crazy crowd
weekend + PH is really no joke!
encountered many unreasonable patrons but some were really nice ones
there was this guy who wished me 'happy national day' after collecting his tickets
serving such patrons who appreciates our effort really makes my day
and one patron i will never forget for today will be 'MR RICHARD WATSON'
my encounter with him today was pretty much intense at first but ended well
conversation went on like this:
me: hi sir, good afternnon, collection of tickets?
mr watson: yes
mr: sir, can i have your confirmation id pls?
mr watson: no
me: then what about your ic number or phone number?
mr watson: no (in a harsher mannner this time)
me: but sir i will need one of the particulars to retrieve your booking
mr watson: but i said no, get your duty manager here
me: hold on for a while, i will check in for you in the office
(went into the events room and came out after 5mins)
me: sir, there is no records found for your credit card
mr watson: but i did it online and it went through, so what do i do now?
me: you can get your ticket now but i am only left with the first 4 rows for this movie
(i took out the seating plan and showed him)
mr watson: but i booked a seat at J15
me: sir, that seat is already taken
mr watson: thats my seat, how can you sell it to other people!
(knowing that he is getting real pissed, i decided to go into office and check w managers)
me: i will double check for you again
(went in office and explained the situation to the three managers inside)
(daddy wayne, miss goh and ling2 helped me checked)
(and they managed to find out that J15 is sold out on its own as a ticket)
(credit card holder name is 'richard watson' but there is just no records found for his CC)
(daddy wayned printed out the transaction and approved it for his entry to the movie)
(ling2 wants me to ask if he is richard watson and i left the office)
me: hi sir, sorry to keep you waiting, may i ask if you are 'MR RICHARD WATSON'
mr watson: yes, thats right
me: okie sir, i have checked it for you and gotten confirmation id to retrieve your ticket
mr watson: oh really, thats great!
(he was in a good mood right away and smiled at me)
me: sir, here you go, your ticket to 'The Love Guru', seat number J15
mr watson: thats great, you're such a nice lady
mr watson: thank you so much for your help and patience!
me: not a problem sir, thank you and enjoy your movie
mr watson: thank you too, have a good day! bye
me: bye!
so conclusion of the incident, he gave me the wrong credit card
and on top of that he doesnt have any particulars while collecting his ticket!
but i was so glad that he left my counter in a happy mood! haha
some patrons are just funny
come collecting tickets without the necessary info/particulars needed
how do they expect us to know?
we are not so free to be checking our system all the time!!
ended work finally
i was glad when tommy came and took over me
my money tallied today, and left work at 6.30pm
decided to make a trip to CROCS cos i saw something nice from there
actually i saw it from a patron who came to my counter earlier
went in and i found it..
so i bought it cos i thought it was really really cute!
too bad it dont come in blue! =(
^this is the thing i got, a pouch! this was the last red piece they have!
^bought the 'clip on' initials too! SO CUTE RIGHT!!!! opps
work today was pretty satisfying =)
it feels good serving patrons at box office but not those unreasonable ones!
and its good seeing YIXIA back at work! welcome back home! =)
not forgetting daddy wayne and uncle geswin sim too! =)
