its a busy day today
woke up in the morning at 9plus
morning-called piggy cos he is working at 11.30
and then i got ready for work..
headed to second sis's shop to work at 11am
ended work at 3pm
headed back to third sis's house
carried out my mission with the girls
but i screwed it up!
shall not talk about it already
today is veritas's concert cum graduation
the concert that she have been preparing for in school daily for weeks
i almost forgotten it till sis reminded me ytd
so i ended up not being able to make it for junwei's 21st bdae celebration!
sorry HIGH! =(
her concert was like some massive project
a big thing for her as well as us! =)
third sis was very anxious about it..
preparation and making sure she look pretty!
at around 5pm
eldest sis came over with an important task of being the make-up artist
her task was to make-up for veritas
and of course my little baby venetta who is super vain..
wanted some make-up as well!
so sis did it for the two girls!
and they looked super good! all geared for the concert
as a performer and as an audience!
left the house at 6.40pm..
reporting time for veritas was at 7pm
bro-in-law drove us to VICTORIA CONCERT HALL!
i cant imagine a kindergarden holding their concert in VCH
i rememebered mine was just in my school's auditorium!
no wonder the tickets are priced at 30bucks each!
concert started at 7.30pm
performers for the night were the K1 and K2
cos the nursery team had theirs in the noon..
had a 20mins interval
and kel called during that time!
had a chat with him before heading back to the hall
their performance was super good!
im amazed at how these kids can put up such a good show
and how well the teachers planned the whole concert out
the concert was worth the money i would say
each class were to put up a different item in different themes
each class have got different costumes
and all are soo vibrant and all fit them nicely
cos all are tailored-made to their size..
which cost sis 52 bucks for veritas's costume
though each class were asked to put up a different item
all of them are linked.. from K1 to K2
it formed up a entire story!
very entertaining..
and the K1 are really cute!
my girl did a good job as well
she performed in the class item as well as the finale!
she played percussion in one of her item and was the first to appear on stage!
interesting part was that percussion instruments used were replaced by household items!
the 'drums' she played was actually a pot!
and there were dustbins as well!
reminds me of my beijing farewell performance!
graduation ceremony for the K2 was right after the concert
seeing them in their graduating robes reminded me of my time!
and coming out to take their certificates! so cute la!
veritas looked smart in the robe! =)
im very impressed by the whole performance!
and how much the kids can absorb and put up such a show!
concert ended at around 10pm
and we were all super hungry so it was supper time!
bro-in-law suggested newton circles and yes we went there!
came back to fetch mummy and daddy first
then off to newton..
ordered so much food like satay, chicken wings, stingray, popiah, noodles and oyster omelette!
so full after eating!
home sweet home after that
and the girls fell asleep in the car!

second sis was trying new styles with her hair and came up with this:

i thought she looked pretty much like her sister! =)
and she got changed for the concert soon later..
and i took some pictures of her in her room..
she was standing against the pink wall in her room..
which makes the pictures very studio-liked..
except that there were no lightings!
piggy showed his mummy her pictures..
and his mummy commented she looked like barbie doll! haha
i thought so too!
she is just simply adorable!
she was asked to change another outfit by her daddy
cos daddy say that doesnt look too good..
so she obeyed and changed..
with that, she wanted some make-up this time..
so sis did it for her.. a very light one! =)
just look how vain can a 2-year old get!
and finally, she is all ready to attend her sis's concert! =)
