updates!
back to blogging proper
and this will means.. long post ahead!
let me start with the weekends first!
saturday was pretty normal
worked and headed to darling's place for dinner! =)
sunday was good!
if you guys did take note of the news over the weekends
you would have realised the HOKKEIN ASSOCIATION had some cultural exhibition
saturday was their opening and something nice happened =)
two months back, the hokkien association came and interviewed grandpa
as he was one of the member in the association and was holding a pretty high post
interview was inconjunction to the exhibition
whereby they asked my grandpa about the different cultures hokkeins have
and at the end of it they requested for a picture
so a few was given for them to choose
on saturday, when the opening of the exhibition took place
we were invited to it but we didnt go
not knowing that we are being featured!
only mummy went when she heard the broadcast on the radio
and she was shocked to see our picture there!
so that explained why the whole family made a trip down on sunday
cousins, aunties and all met up and headed to singapore conference hall
and we were really shocked to see how huge the picture was featured!
now let the pictures do the talking!

they chose the picture where by all the grandchildren took with my grandparents!
and the culture featured was 'birthday'
displaying how much hokkeins value their elderly birthday celebration
in this, we celebrated grandpa's 93rd birthday in july! =)
the chairperson of the hokkein association was shocked to see grandpa
he didnt expect grandpa will grace the event personally
so he actually requested him to take a picture
and it will be published in the book that they are gonna come up with soon
the picture featured will be in the book too!
i am gonna be famous! hahah!
and on top of that
we cam-whored a little too!

to shorten this post
i have decided not to post up the various culture pictures!
you should know some basic cultures hokkeins have
like mooncake festival, chinese new year, wedding and etc!
met up with darling after his work
and headed to his place for dinner again
his mummy cooked black pepper crab!
but i dont eat crab so i get to have a special side dish!
bbq-ed chicken wings! =)

monday was back to school
had a good breakfast with darling before class starts
and this lazy bum took a short nap after breakfast!

headed to class after breakfast!
after class, had a 4hrs break
so headed to amk for lunch
and played pool with classmates before heading back to school!
tuesday was a bad day
school was short but had test on wed so study study!
wednesday was good
short day
and test was pretty good! =)
caught a movie with darling!
and today was not too bad
short day too
headed to plaza alone to get bdae present for sis!
got her a handbag for work and ordered a cake!
headed home
chatted with mummy =)
and then off to sis's place for dinner
and did up all the bookmarks for veritas
felt so tired after that!
now here i am!
im gonna go to bed soon!
looking forward to the weekends! =)
