as the year 2008 is coming to an end..
i would like to express my thanks to few special group of people
as well as to pin down some thoughts that i had in this entire year
its gonna be a long post!
2008 has been a great year for me
be it personal school or work
in this very year
i learnt so much that i never thought i will have a chance to
and i met great people that meant alot to me
now..
to the special people that holds a place in my heart..
first of all..
i would like to start off with HIGH gang
HIGH-gang
to all my dearest HIGH-gangsters, you guys are really the best gift i can get from GV..
the friendship, the crazy things we do, the bond we share and the various UPs and DOWNs we been thru are part and parcel that i will not forget..
its really amazing how we established the bonds we have now.. where we all started out as strangers..
strangers that are from all different places, age groups and interests..
but i believe now, we all share a common thing, and that will be being a part of this wonderful family..
2008 been good with you all around, the birthday celebrations, outings, farewells we have are one of the best outings i ever attended this year..
though we are all out of GV now, its really a blessing to be able to catch up with you guys as much as we can.. it really meant alot to me..
and so from the bottom of my heart.. i THANK all of you for this and I LOVE YOU GUYS!
looking forward to more outings and HIGH-events in 2009! =)

my dear lovely ladies! thanks for the years of friendship right from St Margs.. its really nice to be able to hang out with you guys despite the different paths that we are in now. i deepy appreciate what you guys did for me on my birthday this year..
knowing you guys for about 5years now.. has been a blessing to me..
nothing beats having crazy girl-friends in my life.. i truly enjoyed every single crazy/dumb/retarded acts we do each time we meet up, especially how we flaunt our cam-whoring skills, everywhere and anywhere..
meet ups for us in 2008 werent many, but each time is a special meet up to me..
im looking forward to plenty more meet-ups in the brand new year ahead..

to my fellow 43 trip mates, i believe that this BEIJING trip is the most memorable trip we can ever have in our poly life.. where we can leave our families behind for the time being and travel on our own..
what makes it special was how 44 people can be bonded in a group within the short period one month.. i truly enjoyed every single moment when we were in BEIJING!
and to my dearest ROOMIE, it was good having you as a room-mate! i really miss those times now...
and to PT, i will never forget the times i made fun of your hair and how it brings laughter to our group..
and lastly to DEWEI, ISAAC and WILSON.. the group was well formed with you guys in it too..

hey dearies! its been really great to know you all through attachment, despite being from different courses and different classes, i thank all of you for taking the effort to bond all 8 of us together during the internship...
lunches with you guys are always full of laughter and joy.. which made my 3 months stay in mindef a very easy and unforgetable one..
i would like to thank you guys for not outcasting me when i chosen to go BEIJING, in the 1 month that i wasnt in school doing FYP with you guys, you all didnt outcast me out and forget about me.. this is something im always very touched about..
thanks for the care and concern you guys sent me while i was in BEIJING... and the effort to organising meet ups the moment i was back..
i appreciate every single one of you.. though there are some who are no longer as close to us as before.. but the bond that was once made can never be broken apart that easily!

thanks for all the care you guys have showered on me in the 3months there.. i indeed learnt a lot of things for all of you..!

nevertheless 2008 was good with you guys around me in school.. despite the different tracks that we chose, its always heart-warming to see your familiar faces around and the lunch breaks that we have occasionally..
this friendship that we have.. will not just end as we graduate from NYP..

just one good news i would like to share..
im really happy to share that i will have one more new family member added in my family in the new year! =)
i will be having another niece/nephew in 2009! =)
am soo looking forward to his/her arrival! =)
i guess 2008's been really good for me
i love it the way it is
and i am looking forward to 2009 with more things awaiting for me!
biggest challenge will be joining NIE! =)

after the whole lot of crazy activities during the two weeks term break
birthday celebrations, bbq, steamboat, stay-outs and blah blah!

am down with fever, sore throat, cough and a bad flu!
and its just 3 days before the start of school!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! =)

23rd dec
met up with roomie pt and darling
its been soooo long i last saw roomie and pt!
missed them so much!
dinnered at ASTONS again
then headed for a movie 'yes man'
very good movie i would say
simple and good for a laugh!
a very short but good meet up!
ROOMIE, im still missing the good times we had together!

24th dec
its christmas eve!
plan was simple and that was just to head to sis's place for dinner
bro-in-law cooked for us! =)
yummy dinner i would say!
darling came down after his new hair cut! =)
but before that, we already started the cooking
and bro-in-law bought ingredients to make pizza!
first timer to that, so for the first pizza we were just looking at him do
not very confident that it will work out!
but it turned out to be tasty! =)
after the first attempt and was successful
veritas and i went to make our own mushroom pizza! =)
and its good too!
darling was just in time to taste our mushroom pizza!
and after which..
darling helped me with 3 other pizzas!
so we made 5 altogether!
together with pasta and grilled chicken that bro cooked!
it was like feeding pigs! haha

caught 'bedtime stories'
another good movie by adam sandler!
i remembered the last time i caught a midnight movie on christmas eve
was two years back with yanwan and edwin!
it was also a movie starring adam sandler - 'night at the museum'
this time round, it was as good!
and yes
i was once again tempted by the new marketing gimmicks!
saw the mega drink that was selling at candy bar and i wanted it
so mr piggy got it for me!
its sooo cute la!
and i realised ever since i quitted from GV
such marketing gimmicks really fascinate me more than before! opps

and another happy thing for me
mr piggy got me a christmas pressie with something i eyed for a long time!
always been wanting to get a new pair of earpiece
but yet those good ones are really expensive that i dont wanna waste money on
so yes,
mr piggy got it for me!
and its in my favourite colour - blue!

and yupp
i am finally done with the 'burning' of the earpiece
its said that before using the earpiece
you got to 'burn' it for like 10 hours!
which is to on your mp3 with the earpiece plucked in
and then adjust the volume to the volume you will always listen to
and leave it on for 10 hours..
this will allow the earpiece to adjust to the volume for better music experience!
i shall see how true this is!
it was a tiring day today!
only caught 4hours of sleep from last night
woke up at 7.30am this morning
headed to meet up with HIGH gang for our dim sum date!
and i was 30mins late in meeting the 8am gang!

this is only the first episode of my christmas this year!

came home and gave dinner with third sis a miss
and headed for a nap!

and yes, my two elder silly sisters been video-calling me from HOKKAIDO!
they did it yesterday and we all had a good chat with them
my girls were excited w the 3-G technology!
and yes, they called me today again when i was with HIGH!
just to show me the white chirstmas in HOKKAIDO now cos it was snowing!
and they kept telling me 'you should have just came'!
so much of making me regret la!
but well, im happy with this year's christmas!

updates!
long post ahead thou
it was a busy week last week for me
HIGH meet up, SP Band Concert, Jo's Birthday and monthsary
now i shall update about SP concert, Jo's Birthday and monthsary!
attended Singapore Poly Band Concert last wed
it was just awesome
touching scenes and fantastic repertoir!
went there to support my beloved band juniors from St Margs
as well as MR LEONARD TAN, our beloved conductor always
mr tan is leaving for studies in jan
so SP concert was his last full-length concert before he leaves
and it was a good one..
rather, every concert under him is always good!
i love the repertoir that night
and saw many familiar faces
especially MISS WEE(mrs tan now) and MR LIM!
our two funny and yet nice tutors when we were back in SMSB!
really misses those times in St Margs Band
and those concert/syf moments w mr tan and tutors

went for a mini celebration for our advanced 6th month
dinner was at ASTONS, the cathay
we waited for almost 1hr just to dine there
we managed to secure a seat outside
it was a nice nice place, nice and good atmosphere! =)
food was pretty good as well

he told me he had to work on the 20th
so he can only spend time with me one day before
but i have him knocking on my door on the 20th while i was still sleeping!
he went back home in the morning and came back again in the late noon!
when i asked him, he told me he was on his way to work!
so much of believing him!
it was a nice surprise to see him thou! =)
got ready and we headed to town for a shopping spree!
got many many stuff and walked sooo much!
it was nice spending the actual day with him! =)
i love him!
and finally
today was a good day!
had lunch with all my 3 sisters, mummy and grandma!
all were on leave today!
cos 'dajie' and 'erjie' flying off to JAPAN-HOKKAIDO tmr!
am supposed to be gg on the trip with them
but it was just too expensive that i decided not to go
thou they wanted to sponser me!
hope they will have a good trip there!!
i will be waiting for pressies here!!
