HAPPY NEW YEAR MY LOVES!2008 has passed
and now 2009 has arrived!
this shall be my first post in 2009!
countdown to this brand new year was well spent with my loves
very simple way of countdown but very fun one!
met up with
buddy, xiuxiang, faiz, meilin, jolene and their bfsheaded to heeren's SHOKUDO for dinner
i still prefer the one at raffles city!
dinner was nice
headed over to coffee club to slack while waiting for mr piggy
ordered drinks and chatted!
mr piggy ended work at 9.30pm and came over
and we left coffee club after that with faiz and xiuxiang heading to meet their friends
leaving with
buddy, mr piggy, meilin + bf, jolene + bf and mewe headed down to cityhall
wanting to catch the fireworks!
the crowd was terrible
we walked from padang to fullerton
stopped at fullerton and due to the crowd, we stopped there
by then it was 11.30pm..
however
mr piggy buddy and i decided to brave the crowd for the sake of a better view
but the two couples were happy with the spot they were in
the three of us went into the crowd
and with all the pushing, we managed to get over to the other side
and headed all the way down to clifford pier..
we got ourselves a pretty good view... by then it was 11.50pm!
we all waiting for 12mn anxiously
and when the fireworks came on, it was awesome
especially the finale!
the three of didnt regret braving through the crowd and being pushed by people!
after which
we headed to Lau Pa Sat for a drink
as usual, the two couples didnt join us..
we sat there till 1plus
mr piggy and buddy walked me home from LPS and sent me to my doorstep
before they shared cab back to bukit pangjang!
hours before 2009 was nice with buddy, faiz, xx, jo and meilin around
minutes before 2009 and first few hours into 2009 was definately...
well spent with my two loves around..! =)
looking forward to the many big things/challenges thats gonna take place in 2009!
