hello!
alright.. am here to update about the job that i blogged about previously
in conclusion,
I DIDNT CONTINUE WITH ITreason being it's not a good job
(in my own opinion)when i saw the advertisement in the papers
they didnt specify anything like working hours and so on
when i called to enquire before heading down for interview
the lady told me its a 5-day work week
rotation between weekdays and weekends
which i find it very acceptable
as its pretty much like GV..
interview went smoothly on tues
all i was told was that to attend orientation the next day
so yupp, i headed for orientation on wed
which ended up to be some training from 10am-6pm
the whole day was all on teaching us how to sell the $780 eye care product
had so many role plays
and we had to remember word from word on how to sell from the 'sales script'
it's not a problem for me to remember content
but what i cant stand is after hearing from the overall i/c
the overall i/c told us that our working hours are as follows
weekday: 5pm-9pmweekend: 12nn-9pmthe working hours were fine to me
but it came with conditions such as
COMPULSORY NO offdays during weekends, roadshows and PH
we got to head down to the head office at jurong every monday
for sales target meeting and then head to work at 5pm after the meeting
and we were only allowed
ONE offday within tues to thurs
i am pretty sure i cant commit to such working hours
and surprisingly the other 4 friends that were with me had the same thinking
at the end of the training..
we were told that we had to go back for training again on friday
(which is today)and hours are like 10am-6pm as well
went home
and after much thinking and discussion with sisters
i decided to reject the job
and to my surprise the other 4 friends also decided to leave the job
when i told them i called to quit yesterday
they texted me one by one and told me the same thing that they called to quit as well
this wasnt some planned resignation
but just 5 of us having same thoughts!
okay
now i'm jobless once again!
