FIRST DAY
back to school
should i say its a good or bad thing?
only had 3 hours of sleep
woke up at 5am this morning
left the house for school with a whole lot of mixed feelings from ytd
happy and excited that i get to experience life of a form teacher
BUT
worried that i dont make the mark
anyway..
i reached school at 6.30am..
staff room wasnt even open, and what a day to start
the heavy rain this morning caused me to be drenched
my RL heels was totally gone.. =(
was rushing against the clock
trying to print out and get ready everything for my class
well, for those who dont know..
i am starting my year this time round as a form teacher
though i am only covering another teacher for a time being till she comes back
it made me feel as though i have alot of things to do
and i am being appointed to be on morning duty at 7am
it felt good to see all the students coming back to school
greeting you cheerfully as they come in..
it made me feel happy to be back in school
and when the day started officially
i finally met up with my class
am glad that i finished the admin matters within a day
but there is still more to go..
first day experience as a form teacher aint that fun afterall
i had 2 parents leaving me a message, wanting me to return call
1 is to update me about her child..
and the other one was something not within my expectation
a parent called to complain about her daughter's money being taken by another girl
details shall not be mentioned fully
so practically, my whole afternoon
was spend handling calls and pacing the staffroom up and down
trying to get more info about my girls..
and how nice..
its only first week of school..
and i will be having a meet up with a parent.
i am still being hopeful about everything
i want to do my best
so i can hand over nicely when the teacher comes back.
